Hi, have you got your Christmas crocheting in order? I have come up with a free amigurumi pattern, that is sure to make the superhero fans in your family happy this Christmas. I am going to gift mine to the superman in my life, my husband.
My husband has been asking for it for a long time. I always thought making a superman might be a tricky project, I was wrong. I came up with this easy-to-follow pattern.
It takes two to three days to finish, even if you crochet only for a few hours a day.
Disclaimer: Like I always say, if you find something not looking the way it is supposed to, or if you have clarifications with the pattern talk to me in the comments or feel free to reach out to me on my social media. Thank you.
Finished size: 7 inches.
To crochet this superman amigurumi you will need.
- Yardley Five Star – 4 ply yarn in superman colors red, blue, yellow, skin color and black. Or some acrylic yarn colors that make you happy.
- Crochet hook size: 3 mm
- Safety eyes.
- Fiberfill for stuffing.
- Tapestry needles to sew it all together.
Abbreviations:
Note: The body and legs of this superman amigurumi are crocheted in one piece, joined in the course of crocheting. The entire project is worked in continuous rounds using a stitch marker. If I have used a colon (:) in between the rounds it means you have single crochet for those rounds without any increase or decrease.
- ch = chain stitch
- st = stitch
- sc = single crochet
- inc = increase (2sc in one stitch)
- dec = decrease (2sc together)
- sl st = slip stitch
